An open-house event celebrating Quebec's religious heritage

On September 12 and 13, 2020, get a better understanding of Quebec’s religious heritage and learn to appreciate its many artistic, historical and architectural aspects. The Religious Heritage Days Event represent traditions observed all over the province and the program of events surrounding this annual event offer visitors the chance to see renowned sacred sites as well as lesser-known places that have been repurposed or are difficult to access. Enjoy a different take on local tourism where diversity is key. And good news: all of the activities are free.

More than one hundred places to visit in more than 85 municipalities!

Over the course of the weekend, choose a few of the 138 sites listed on the Religious Heritage Days Event to visit. Activities are varied and include concerts, exhibitions, conferences, self-guided or guided tours, indoors or outdoors. No matter how you decide to participate in the event, this 2020 edition will be carried out in compliance with public health measures and recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including mandatory masks for all people ages 10 and over.

Plan your itinerary in advance and share your journey!

Check out the calendar on the website of the event and choose the places you would like to visit ahead of time. A search engine lets you select locations by date, type of visitor, type of activity or region, which makes it easier to find what suits you.
