Calling all fans of live electronic music and audiovisual performances, take part in the 23rd edition of the MUTEK Festival, happening from August 23 to 28 at Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles. It's an opportunity to discover artists who dare to experiment and go beyond the boundaries of various digital arts. During these six days and nights, witness an impressive technological universe and take part in stimulating discussions with artists and experts in the field.
Choose the performances that interest you the most from the 80 offered at the festival. These artistic performances feature a total of over 100 artists from 21 countries. The lineup includes local artists in the early stages of their careers as well as established international names. The outdoor program is totally free and highlights creators you definitely want to see or see again. Look forward to all kinds of digital thrills! Check out the complete program.
Due to the pandemic, the last two editions of the festival had to be held in hybrid mode. This format still allowed MUTEK to carry out its mission of presenting artists, both local and international, and reflecting on issues related to artificial intelligence, the role of technology in society, the future of design, and more. This year, the virtual component is maintained as a complement to the in-person parts of the festival. This online broadcasting space also offers interactive artworks and sounds, followed by conferences.
Various options are available for you to enjoy the Festival. Choose the format that suits you best: one-day, weekend, packaged passes or for a single performance. Individual tickets are also on sale now.
Good to know: students and groups of at least five festival-goers receive 15% off their MUTEK passport or Weekend pass. All these discounts (and many more listed in the website's box office) are available presale until August 9.
