Fall Color Festival in Saint-Sauveur
When fall comes, many ski resorts can’t wait to get their facilities up and running in preparation for winter. Some resorts make the most of fall by opening their doors and hosting great events to honour the season’s colours, like an introductory course for the wonderful days of skiing that are on their way. Such is the case for Mont Saint-Sauveur, which is presenting the Fall Color Festival from September 21 to October 14, 2013, and for Tremblant with its series of intimate concerts presented from September 7 to October 14, 2013.

The Fall Color Festival at Mont Saint-Sauveur

I really like Mont Saint-Sauveur because of the many activities it offers for enjoying the season of colours, almost as if it were still summer. Indeed, during the Fall Color Festival, guests can access many of the resort’s facilities, which are also open during the summer season.

The entire Zone d’attractions will be open for the occasion! I also recommend another great activity that I got a chance to try: the alpine coaster called the Viking. This fun activity, open year round, will surely entertain the whole family. Also, try the new Le Dragon double zip-line: two visitors sit in the seat, which is then backed up to the top of the mountain before being released to the bottom. The lift that normally takes swimmers to the water slides makes it possible for visitors to admire the colourful landscapes from the peak’s summit.

There are also many activities for your children. They can have fun at the petting farm or in the rides at the Zone d’attractions.

Intimate Concerts in Tremblant

Intimate Tremblant Concerts

In my opinion, Tremblant is a must during the season of colours! Every weekend from September 7 to October 14, 2013, the pedestrian village will move to the beat of free fall concerts at Promenade Deslauriers. These intimate concerts by many Québec artists like Bruno Labrie and John McGale set the tone in the colourful Tremblant decor! While in Tremblant, you can also go shopping at the boutiques or head out for hikes along the mountains trails.
