An 18th mural in downtown Sherbrooke!

On October 3, MURIRS and Destination Sherbrooke unveiled the 18th fresco of Sherbrooke’s Murals circuit. Located at 332, Marquette Street, on the front of the former Lupa restaurant, The Fifth Element fits in seamlessly with the other trompe-l’œil murals of the circuit, the biggest of its kind in North America. For this creation, MURIRS partnered with the German master of trompe-l’œil art, Steffen Jünemann, who explored the themes of universality, interconnectivity, the environment and uniqueness. You might recognize the artist behind the piece Global Desire, a work of art created at the 1st Symposium of mural art (King Street East).
