The members of SATQ and FEQ are cranking
up their creativity to present you with new activities. Head out
with family, with friends or on your own and enjoy a wide variety of

On October 3, MURIRS and Destination Sherbrooke unveiled the 18th
fresco of Sherbrooke’s Murals circuit. Located at 332,
Marquette Street, on the front of the former Lupa restaurant, The
Fifth Element fits in seamlessly with the other trompe-l’œil
murals of the circuit, the biggest of its kind in North
America. For this creation, MURIRS partnered with the German master
of trompe-l’œil art, Steffen Jünemann, who explored the
themes of universality, interconnectivity, the environment and
uniqueness. You might recognize the artist behind the piece Global
Desire, a work of art created at the 1st Symposium of mural
art (King Street East).
Presented by the 107.5 Rouge radio station,
the 4th Apéros FEQ series will bring together several up-and-coming
artists. See the battle of the musicians, who will go head to head at
the District Saint-Joseph venue in Québec City for a coveted spot to
perform at the Festival d’été de Québec. Three acts will be taking
to the stage every first Thursday of the month until May.
After the performances, the judges and audience will vote for a
winner who will go on to the semi-finals on May 13 and 14. Two
finalists will then vie for top honours on May 28. You’ll be amazed
by the originality, thoughtful lyrics and outstanding performances…

Odyssée des Bâtisseurs, is a theme
park and museum that showcases exhibitions and presentations
about the heritage of the Lac-Saint-Jean region. Starting June
2020, a new immersive video will be shown and will take visitors
on a journey into the heart of the region to meet its people.
