The Festival des traditions du monde de Sherbrooke (FTMS, festival of world traditions) is an exceptional adventure: a five-day trip across the continents. Your itinerary includes close to 150 shows, activities and workshops presented by more than 500 local and international artists on nine indoor and outdoor stages. Food, crafts and entertainment for families are all a part of the festivities. Don’t forget to take pictures to capture these unique memories! A one-of-a-kind multicultural experience This 22nd installment of the FTMS invites you to soak up the electrifying ambience of the Pub irlandais (Irish pub), the Shack d’Amérique (America’s shack) and the Palais de l’Orient (Palace of the Orient). The concept of these three themed pavilions is totally unique and ushers visitors into a colourful cultural immersion that calls on all of your senses! The festival site also includes the Gastronomic corner, featuring delicacies from 17 restaurants with cuisines from various parts of the world as well as 70 exhibitors and artisans. A one-of-a-kind multicultural experience Discover the spectacular program of activities Performances by acclaimed musicians will make visitors feel like they’re travelling all over the globe. Feel the beat and listen to the melodies as they sweep you into a trance or get you up and dancing! The lineup this year includes: Jacobus, Zachary Richard, Wesli, Florent Vollant, Pierre Kwenders, Yves Lambert Trio, Lakou Mizik, Lucibela, Jennifer Grout & Kattam, Carotté, Hampaté Sahel Blues, Leela Gilday, Nomad' Stones, Nidhal Yahyaoui, Rita Tabbakh and many more. Come as a family… it’s simply child’s play! The FTMS welcomes families with open arms and is suitable for children of all ages. The Family Zone is a place where your little ones can move around and have a blast playing games and enjoying the play area. Under the marquee called "Le Chapiteau des Merveilles", you’ll find interactive musical shows, storytelling, workshops and circus, dance and yoga workshops. Don’t miss it!
