Whether you’re looking to put your artistic skills to the test by snow sculpting, admire the incredible sculptures around the site, enjoy musical performances, or take part in family activities, Saguenay en Neige will add a touch of magic to your winter. What’s more, the festivities will open with a superb firework display! Tons of great music! This year, Saguenay en Neige will showcase an even more exciting lineup of musical performances. Dance to rock, pop & blues at the Rick Hughes Show as the group performs classics from legendary bands and artists such as Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Elvis and the Beatles. That’s not all! There will also be folk, country, retro and Cajun music, along with Irish and Scottish dancing. An avalanche of new activities At this year’s festival, you’ll experience a new jaw-dropping acrobatic performance by three professional BMX athletes and Cirque du Soleil artists. Another new addition is the heated and illuminated outdoor patio, where all indoor shows will be projected on a giant screen in the White Dance Floor section, and which will also be the venue for the Carte Blanche DJ night. What’s more, you can also take part in a number of family activities, such as arts and crafts, drawing contests and shows. Looking for adventure? No problem! Get your fill of excitement by trying the giant zipline, introductory snowboard lessons, and not to mention Solution X’s 12-step challenge for the whole family. Spectacular snow sculptures Saguenay en Neige organizes three snow sculpture contests for students, amateurs and professionals. In addition, as part of the SEN chez vous contest, participants can send a photo of snow sculptures in front of their homes or places of work for a chance to win! While you’re in the area, you won’t want to miss the incredible ornamental sculptures created by Les Sculpteurs Élément-terre and Sag-Sculpte teams, transforming the city of Saguenay into a magnificent open-air museum!
