The Village du Bûcheron in Mauricie is a lumberjack village offering guided tours that explore the everyday lives of lumberjacks through stories, legends and songs.
This summer, a lovely little restaurant called “la Cookerie du Village” appeared on site and became known for excellent local fare, dinner-shows featuring the region’s musicians and a warm, festive atmosphere. Quality products are yours to savour in the dining room decorated in rustic style or on the patio from where you can admire nature. Try the incomparable duck confit poutine, and make sure to check out the cocktail menu! The last two weekends of October at the Village du Bûcheron revolve around an evening of stories and songs about the Devil. This diabolical end-of-season activity is open to participants over 12 years of ages – and places are limited!
