Music lovers and artists can count on the team at FME to find an innovative solution for its 18th edition. The festival will be held September 3 to 5 on a smaller scale, in various locations with reduced capacity in the city of Rouyn-Noranda. The lineup will feature about twenty Quebec acts of all genres as well as emerging artists. Musicians who have been particularly affected by the pandemic have been favoured by the organizers of the festival and include Bleu Jeans Bleu, Aliocha, Rosie Valland, Zen Bamboo, Anachnid and les Deuxluxes. Whereas festival-goers could usually come and go and attend free shows, this year, they will only be able to purchase tickets to specific shows. The Desjardins stage will be set up by Kiwanis Lake and allow for a maximum of 250 people in attendance, as recommended by the public health department. Shows will be presented in the late afternoon and evening, and attendees can look forward to a few surprises.
