Space for Life and the Birth of Planet Earth

Open every day in Montréal, Space for Life consists of four attractions that each explore aspects of life and nature. One of those, the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium is presenting an ultra-high-definition film this spring: Birth of Planet Earth. Projected onto a 360° dome, this film explains the beginning of life on our planet through immersive simulations based on scientific data. The modern world’s greatest questions are at the heart of it all: how did Earth become a life-sustaining planet following the violent birth of our solar system? What lessons can we draw from its beginnings in order to find worlds similar to our own? Get your ticket to space now!
