The 66th Québec Winter Carnival in association with Loto-Québec will be happening February 7 to 16, 2020. For ten days, this iconic festival will be celebrating winter in a unique way. This year the Carnival boasts amazing musical performances, enchanting sites and lots of fun and interactive things to do… all of it presented in a one-of-a-kind festive atmosphere that attracts visitors from all around the world!

A party to remember!

This season the Carnival will be highlighting honoured traditions as well as looking forward to the future. The Pepsi Hip-Hop Evening will be kicking thngs off on February 7 at Bonhomme’s Ice Palace in the Loto-Québec Zone with performances by the post-rigodon band Alaclair Ensemble and rising stars of Quebec rap FouKi and QuietMike. On February 14 on Jacques-Parizeau Street, Sapporo Électro frette will showcase five female DJs that will get you dancing to electrifying rhythms for a whole new take on a Valentine’s Day celebration.

Discover activities that bridge tradition with modernity

This year again, the Carnival offers a multitude of activities! The Ice Palace in the Loto-Québec Zone wants you to explore Pixel, a fun, immersive experience from the 80s and 90s, with ice and snow masterpieces in the spotlight. At the Parc de la Francophonie, the new Christie North Slope and the 300-foot-long Christie Descent slide promises thrills for the most daring festival-goers. Visitors looking for an exciting time can beat the cold and head to Jos’ Camp by Videotron for the legendary St-Hubert snow bath, the ax-throwing game, the wintertime wrestling events, the wacky street hockey game and rocking shows at the Videotron Music Box.
