The Quebec Winter Carnival, more dynamic than ever!
Don’t miss the 64th year of this major winter event, happening from January 26 to February 11, 2018. A quintessential festival for families, the Quebec Winter Carnival in association with Loto-Québec has a wide range of activities for all participants: nighttime parades, the VIA Rail ice slide, the traditional St-Hubert Snow Bath, snow sculptures, canoe races, participatory challenges and more. And new this year: Odyss Land of Ice! Join the mascot Bonhomme, the Duchesses and the thousands of visitors in attendance for a one-of-a-kind event, a great celebration and a time-honoured tradition!

The party’s always on at Jos’ Camp!

Set up at Parc de la Francophonie, Jos’ Camp, presented by Vidéotron, is the place to be for fun activities geared toward young adults. Participants can rise up to the challenge of the mechanical moose, the ax-throwing game or the escape challenge. A storyteller will also be on site to regale festival-goers with legends around the fire in an atmosphere reminiscent of the good old days.

Odyss Land of Ice: a new immersive experience

Thanks to its partner, Loto-Québec, the Quebec Winter Carnival is ready to wow with its newest feature. Bonhomme’s Ice Palace will have two distinct offers; it will be open to visitors during the day as usual, then at night, the Palace will turn into an interactive playground called Odyss Land of Ice – an innovative adventure courtesy of BlackOut Design. During this immersive, interactive and above all participatory experience, you will be invited to jump right in and gain a new, playful perspective on winter thanks to the magic of multimedia arts.

The 2018 Carnival Effigy includes a single ticket to the Odyss activity, but as places are limited, reservations are still required.
