Séguin In the Montérégie region is a wonderful garden called Jardin Daniel A. Séguin. This veritable floral park cranks up the charm with about twenty themed gardens showcasing a great diversity of flowers. Visitors choose this beautiful place not only for its exquisite fragrances, but also for the advice they can get on choosing their plants this year. In Quebec, the Les Exceptionnelles program, selects the best annual flowers and vegetable plants. Thanks to the vote of a committee of experts and the public, only plants with a natural performance pass the selection test; that's why they are “exceptional”. Those plants are then found in a large number of garden centres in Quebec. You too can reap knowledge and learn about plant life by visiting the Jardin Daniel A. Séguin, starting June 5. Jardin Daniel A. Séguin Le Tremplin de Dégelis Francophone culture front and center at le Tremplin de Dégelis The Tremplin de Dégelis festival is the place to discover new talent in song and comedy. This event is a real springboard for emerging artists, offering them a week of training from professionals. The event presents its 21st edition entirely webcast from May 19 to 22. The varied program offers three free competition shows featuring over thirty emerging artists. The performances, without spectators, will take place live on stage with musicians displaying their impressive professional technique! Free web access is available on the Tremplin de Dégelis website. Don't miss the gala show on May 22 featuring Luce Dufault, Rolly Assal and previous winners, by purchasing a ticket for $20. Le Carrefour international de Théâtre: a theatre festival in Québec City, and online! Discovering great local and international artists from the worlds of theatre and contemporary creation is part of the DNA of the Carrefour international de Théâtre. Year after year, their program stands out for its quality, its eclecticism and the diversity of experiences offered to the public. The 21st edition of the Carrefour will be launched on May 27th and will be divided into two parts; Until June 12, the festival will be offering a program of indoor performances in addition to outdoor and online events, health measures permitting. A selection of international works will be presented exclusively in digital format. From June 24 to July 4, a reimagined version of the outdoor walk-through experience called Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant…? (Where do you go when you sleepwalk...?) will be presented on the banks of the Saint-Charles River in Québec City.
