MOMENTA Biennale de l’image is a contemporary art movement devoted to the image, that has taken place around Montreal every two years since 1989.

In order to make Quebec culture accessible to today’s youth, Momenta Biénnale de l’image has recently created its second interactive video game, titled Enki and the Gallery of Mysteries, targeted to children ages 6 to 8. Meet Enki, a curious spirit who watches over a collection of portraits, but unfortunately, one of the artworks has disappeared. Explore the gallery and take on Enki’s challenges to find the missing piece. This interactive experience was designed to help elementary school children discover works of art made by Quebec artists. The game has 4 pedagogical goals: to develop a sense of observation in children, to introduce them to image analysis, to stimulate their imagination using a digital creation and to foster a love of reading.

Offered free of charge in English and French, this game is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to enjoy an activity together or for kids to develop an appreciation of art at school.
