Eureka! Quebec’s biggest celebration of science!
Get ready for three days of fun and scientific discovery and over 100 free interactive activities! This summer head to the Old Port of Montreal and dive into the universe of the modes of transportation of the future – the theme for this 13th Eureka! Festival. The event also hosts some twenty show and conferences, 75 hands-on workshops, street shows, entertainment and awesome demonstrations. It’s a festival that’s fun for all ages!

2019, kicking into gear and on the move

Looking to find out all about the best achievements in science in Quebec? Here’s your chance! Every university from the Greater Montreal region will be present, in addition to researchers and scientific businesses and organizations from all over the province. Meet face to face with scientists and experts, handle tools used in real laboratories and see amazing demonstrations that show the many ways that science and technology are applied in the real world. Your jaw is sure to drop as you witness Alexandru Duru and his hoverboard and see Archimède the human-powered submarine and Estéban the solar-powered car developed by a team of students from the Polytechnique Montréal engineering school.

A fun, awe-inspiring festival

If you’re mad about performances that combine science and comedy, Bill Bestiole and Yannick Bergeron and their surprising experiments are just the thing for you! You’ll also get high-quality entertainment at the free Génial! show by Télé-Québec, a festival exclusive. Its stars, Stéphane Bellavance and Martin Carli, the spokespersons of this grand event, will wow the audience with their funny, unexpected and fascinating experiments. Eureka! is a project by L’île du savoir produced in partnership with the Montreal Science Centre with financial support from the City of Montreal and the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation. It’s all taking place from June 7 to 9.
