The magic of Christmas on the Wine Route

On December 4 and 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the spirit of the holidays will surround the vineyards of Brome-Missisquoi, with a dozen of them taking part in the Holiday Special on the Wine Route event. Participating vineyards will be displaying their most beautiful decorations and will offer various activities, such as guided winter tours, food and wine pairing demonstrations, commented tastings and gift basket suggestions. A delicious and festive program!

This holiday event marks the perfect opportunity to visit the vineyards before spring, since many of them with be closing for winter. It’s also a chance to see the special winter side of Quebec’s vineyards, not to mention an ideal time to find Christmas presents for your loved ones and stock up on wine for holiday dinners. What’s more, the Wine Route runs through many of Quebec’s most beautiful villages – so expect a most enchanting road trip!

Christmas markets are back!

A trip to this region wouldn’t be complete without visiting the Seven Christmas Markets in Brome-Missisquoi, including two new markets this year: the Farnham Christmas Market and Festif Bromont. Christmas markets are following sanitary measures to ensure a safe experience: booths and are set up with more space between them and all of them include outdoor components and activities.

A total of more than a hundred artists, artisans and food producers will be showcasing their creations and products. Not only will there be fun for the whole family at the Christmas markets, you’ll also get to meet the exhibitors, discover their work and find wonderful gifts and local treasures!
