Impressive floral mosaics!

The Art & Mosaic Tour is a collection of 20 floral works of art. Discover them all, including the giant rubber ducky sculpture and Gustave le Jardinain, a 9-foot-tall garden gnome! This gnome will be travelling around, making appearances at various local events and donning special accessories – so keep an eye out for him! As for the friendly-looking rubber ducky – Sherbyducky – this 11-foot-tall sculpture made of 5,000 yellow alternantheras on the Lac-des-Nations promenade is guaranteed to impress! Take a picture next to these two giants, tag #Sherbyducky and #Jardinain and enter the photo contest!

Take a walk in an open-air art gallery!

For fifteen years, the 17 murals painted by the MURIRS group have been embellishing and celebrating the city of Sherbrooke. The Murals Tour depicts scenes of everyday life, historic moments and prominent figures. A flyer is available online to help guide you through the discovery of these works of art. And to get the most out of your visit, download the easy-to-use MURALIS mobile app. Simply point the camera from your tablet or smartphone onto the mural and watch it come to life! Kids will also enjoy their time on the tour and can have fun playing "Find-and-seek" as they look for specific elements. After your visit, put your knowledge of the murals to the test by taking the online quiz – so make sure you pay close attention!

Why not stay a little bit longer?

Take advantage of these free activities at your own pace by following the flyers available online and at the tourism information office. And consider ending the day at a nearby hotel or B&B. There are plenty of options to choose from to round out your discovery of the Eastern Townships!
