With spectacular landscapes, the Townships proudly display the season’s yellows, oranges and reds. Many mountains welcome visitors to take part in autumn celebrations sure to delight outdoor enthusiasts. Decked out in seasonal colours, the region is ready to unveil nature in all its splendour and activities for all to enjoy!

Celebrate the beginning of autumn in the region with the Flambée des couleurs Magog Orford, an event taking place over four weekends from September 24 to October 10. The perfect spot for anyone who loves to hike or lounge about on a patio, the Magog Orford area has plenty of attractions. Whether you find yourself in downtown Magog, the Parc national du Mont-Orford or the Cherry River Marsh, you can expect tasting circuits, guided tours and homegrown products.

The Mont Sutton Fall Festival is happening on weekends until October 16, while Owl's Head is hosting on September 24 and 25, October 1 and 2 and October 8, 9 and 10. Make the most of the activities on offer, many of which are free. You could take a ski lift ride to the top or go hiking with your family, all the while admiring the beautiful scenery of the Eastern Townships.

The 8th edition of the Summit Days goes on until October 10 in the Mégantic area. Take the opportunity to hike, bike, see the sights on the Summit Drive and choose from several activities. Head up to Mont Ham, Piopolis, the treetop course in Lac-Mégantic, and fill up on colours!

Don’t forget about the harvest!

There’s still time to go to the orchard and pick your own fruit. This is also the time for wine connoisseurs to visit the vineyards and see the grape harvest. End your visit with a trip to the public markets to load up on fresh local products.
