Located just 2 hours from Montréal and across the river from Ottawa, this is the ideal summer destination for a family vacation, get-together with friends or romantic getaway.

Go on an adventure on the mysterious red line

On the Culture Trail (known as the red line) you can be sure you won’t miss a thing! This initiative from the city in partnership with Vision Centre-Ville Gatineau and Tourisme Outaouais is a 3-km (1.8-mi.) trail that leads the way to lovely discoveries that appeal to all of your senses. Just follow the red line on the ground to get from place to place and from work of art to work of art. The trail connects about 20 must-see attractions, 25 public artworks, starting points to guided tours, a diverse program of events and much more. Everything is designed to deliver a one-of-a-kind artistic and cultural experience. Make your way from the impressive Canadian Museum of History to the colourful Place Aubry and then to the Old Hull Market for some sustenance after your fun-filled day.
