Relax in the park for a while

A peaceful place like none other, the Parc écomaritime de l’Anse-du-port (ecomarine park) is an enchanting spot by the river, surrounded by rich flora and wildlife. Take the lovely wooden footbridge to cross the marsh as you listen to the chirping of water birds, admire a beautiful sunset or enjoy a picnic. This park is among the suggested places to stop along the Route des navigateurs (Navigators’ Route), so consider adding it to your road trip itinerary!

Do you know about geocaching?

This is a type of scavenger hunt in which participants use a GPS and specific coordinates that lead to hidden boxes. The Nicolet-Yamaska area is a popular spot for this activity, and there are treasures hidden in all 16 municipalities and on the Indigenous reserve of Odanak. Geocaching is also a fun, original way to explore the area on foot, on a bicycle, on a motorcycle or as part of a road trip by car!
