Open house on the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route

Each year, wine-growers in the Eastern Townships open their doors to visitors to celebrate their new vintages. On July 8 and 9, many vineyards on the Wine Route will be hosting free tasting sessions and offering visits of their facilities. This is definitely the best way to learn all about wine-making in Quebec and a great opportunity to ask your questions to the experts. Another reason to make the trip: the 2016 vintage promises to be exceptionally delicious!

Whether your favourite is strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or – a classic – apples, you’ll find an orchard in the Eastern Townships where you can go fruit-picking. Some even specialize in lesser-known fruits, such as the sea buckthorn, the rose hip or the honeyberry. A calendar lets you know when each fruit is in season in the Townships. For the chance to win a prize, take a picture of yourself while fruit-picking and post it on social media with #SouvenirsDeCueillette.
