Loved by cyclists, the Townships are the quintessential biking destination for your next trip. Whether you prefer a bike path for a ride with family, country roads for a trip with friends or mountain biking for the thrills, you’ll have lots to choose from in this region. No matter what you decide on, the magnificent scenery is sure to seduce you.

Choose the right circuit for you

Get the Townships’ cycling map online or at the region’s tourist information offices. This map tells you what the top six circuits are and includes plenty of helpful information, such as the length, level of difficulty, type of surface, steepness, whether it’s a road or bike path, the quality of the asphalt and the tourist attractions you’ll find along the way.

Cycling to suit all tastes

Mountain biking fans will be happy to get their bikes out at Bromont, where they will find a rental service, a shop and a biking school. Another beautiful place is the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, where the mountain biking trails are already open for the season. As for the Bromont Cycling Centre (Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont), this organization is dedicated to promoting all forms of cycling and offers many programs adapted to children as well as adults. People who are comfortable with heights and want a relaxing activity will enjoy pedalling through the tops of trees thanks to VéloVolant at Au Diable vert near Sutton!

Services for cyclists

A single day is very little time to explore the region to your heart’s content. Luckily there are many places that tailor their services to cyclists, allowing them to stay longer. The Bienvenue cyclistes! certification is given to hotels, inns, B&Bs and campgrounds that have a safe area to keep bicycles, tools for small repairs and healthy, hearty menus so that cyclists can reenergize before hitting the road. There are a total of 66 locations in the Townships ready to welcome you!
