Hiking is ideal if you want to discover a particular region at your own pace. In the Eastern Townships, over one hundred trails just waiting to be explored stretch across the region. The parks, outdoor centres, mountains and trails and roads are some of the options for hikers. Get your shoes on, pack a snack and you’re on your way!

Stroll through the parks

There are four national parks in the beautiful Eastern Townships and each of them has hiking trails for all levels. Whether you visit the Mont-Orford, Yamaska, Frontenac or Mont-Mégantic national park, the array of hiking options is sure to leave you impressed. While you’re at it take the time to admire the flora and fauna, take in spectacular views and get some exercise amid magnificent scenery. Accommodations on site are even available for hikers who would like to keep exploring the parks for a few days.
