Your kids are probably counting down the days until spring break! But you may be more preoccupied with the hassle of planning a vacation. Well, fear not, dear parents, because the Outaouais region is there to help with a variety of exciting activities for the whole family, including teens. Here are three suggestions for family fun in the great outdoors!

Have a ball and get a treat

Located only a few minutes from Gatineau, the Domaine de l’Ange-Gardien welcomes you to its enchanting country setting. The slides there have 8 tracks for all levels of thrills and all ages and a lift to get back to the top of the mountain. Kids and parents will also love a delightful horse-drawn sleigh ride and a walk on the interpretation trails. In addition, you can purchase mouth-watering maple products at the gourmet store or pick up a delicious sugar shack meal to go.

Make the most of winter in the Petite Nation areas

A true outdoor kingdom of forests and agricultural landscapes, the Parc des Montagnes Noires de Ripon has 17 trails totaling 25 km for hiking, fatbiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing. Equipment rentals are also available for all these activities. This superb park is the perfect place to admire the Petite Nation area: there is a 12-metre-tall observation tower offering a 360-degree view as well as a lookout point from Mont Grand-Pic, 426 metres above sea level. Breathtaking panoramas await you!

A magical winter activity in the trees

Adventurers of all ages, rediscover the pleasure of being free in the forest and get your thrill on in complete safety with Arbraska Laflèche, located only 20 minutes from Gatineau. Amazing ziplines and treetop courses and awesome activities for the whole family are available even in winter.
