A change of seasons is the perfect time to take a stroll and discover enchanting scenery. In the Eastern Townships, the colours of fall are not only admired, but celebrated! See nature in all its glory as it reveals shades of red, orange and gold, and enjoy the activities popping up all around the region.

Look at the colours from above!

Start with the festivities at Mont-Ham, where you can combine a visit of the mountain, some leaf-gazing and music, September 9 to October 7, with music shows every Saturday. If you find yourself in the Mégantic region, the 9th Summit Days are going on until October 9, and this event is excellent for outdoor enthusiasts wanting to hike, bike, see the attractions on the Summit Drive and take part in a wide variety of activities.

Join the celebrations

In the municipality of Eastman, feast your eyes on the colours as you explore on foot, on bike or on the water and admire the stunning views. Consider also the Mount Sutton Fall Festival, stretching out over five weekends until October 15, that features chairlift rides, guided hikes, entertainment for the little ones and even a BBQ of local flavours.

Other autumn festivities

Raise your glass to autumn at the Grande Coulée beer festival September 15 to 17 at Mont-Orford as part of the first weekend of the Flambée des couleurs Magog-Orford, that rolls on until October 9. For a chairlift ride, a walk in a provincial park or a moment to relax on a patio, the Magog-Orford region is a place where you can savour the pleasures of fall. And at Owl's Head on September 23, 24 and 30 and October 1, 7, 8 and 9, there will be many activities to enjoy, as well as chairlift rides.

Wherever you are in the region, the colours of the Eastern Townships promise to be breathtaking!
