Cold winter days are the perfect time to walk around the Canadian Museum of History! You’ll be amazed by the Canadian History Hall and the new temporary exhibition focussing on the work of visionary photographer William Notman, showing until April 14, 2019.

Winter deserves a fitting celebration, and there’s no better way to celebrate than at the 41st Winterlude at the Snowflake Kingdom, happening February 1 to 18, 2019. This returning winter bash promises many surprises for festival-goers! The Old Chelsea Skating rink will be open again, for the second year, to delight skaters with lots of fun moments! After your time on the ice, stroll along the quaint streets of Chelsea Village and drop by Biscotti & cie or Pub Chelsea to recharge your batteries!

The luxurious side of Outaouais

The sumptuous Fairmont Le Château Montebello – the largest log cabin in the world – will wow you with its rustic charm. Since last autumn, the hotel has been undergoing a makeover and doing renovations to add a contemporary look to the rooms, hallways and lobby, while preserving the building’s soul and essence. The grand renovation project is expected to be completed in time for the 2019 summer season.
