A lovely cruise or a charming train ride?

Head to Magog, located less than a half-hour car ride away. From the MacPherson Pier, you have two choices! Pick a romantic dinner cruise on the lake from Escapades Memphrémagog: this three-course meal is served with a cocktail and music in an elegant atmosphere. Or you could book a table aboard the Orford Express. Delectable fine dining will sweep you off your feet as you ride through the splendid landscapes of the Eastern Townships!

Gardens and restfulness on the road to Québec City

A sunny morning is perfectly paired with a visit to the Parc Marie-Victorin in Kingsey Falls, where you’ll see giant works of mosaiculture: a fascinating and impressive art form combining sculpture and horticulture. The park also has themed gardens and enormous insects constructed out of recycled metal. Make the most of your visit and enjoy a picnic by the waterfalls. After lunch, drive up to the Noah Spa to try a dip in the exclusive “eaunergique” saltwater bath and enjoy an invigorating moment of peacefulness. From there, you’ll be less than an hour’s drive away from the Old Port of Québec City, where you can end the day with a stroll through this one-of-a-kind district.

Shows and entertainment!

Spend the evening at one of these three venues: the Salon de jeux in Trois-Rivières, a casino offering a wide variety of games of chance; the Cogeco Amphitheatre, an auditorium with remarkable acoustics that welcomes many tribute bands and other acts; or the Cité de l’énergie in Shawinigan, where imaginative shows are presented in a revolving, heated and canopied outdoor amphitheatre that allows attendees to be sheltered from bad weather.
