The oldest film festival in Canada, the Festival du nouveau cinéma, presents each year in October more than 300 works (short films, feature films, and digital works) by Quebec, Canadian, and foreign creators, along with unprecedented virtual reality and immersive works, stimulating interactive installations, astonishing performances, masterclasses with cinema luminaries, networking events, festive evenings, and gastronomic experiences. Over 11 days, the Festival du nouveau cinéma offers a range of free and paid activities for all tastes, all ages, and all cultures.
