Unique in Gaspésie, a must-see in Gaspésie's summer programming, the Festival Musique du Bout du Monde is one of the most popular events in the region with nearly 50,000 visits. Its diverse and original programming keeps a good balance between headliners known to the general public, favorites, discoveries and emerging artists. Local and regional talent is also highlighted. The festival's primary goal is to introduce world music and all its attributes (rhythms, dances, food, etc.) to the regional population as well as to the tourist clientele, and to promote and stimulate the Gaspésie cultural scene. It is a place of exchange between the Gaspesian culture and the other cultures of the world.
