The Musée du Témiscouata
is proud to present the temporary exhibition "Le fléché au bout des doigts", a travelling exhibition produced by the Centre Marius-Barbeau. According to the Encyclopedia of French Cultural Heritage in North America, "the arrow sash is a strong symbol of French culture in America North America" and the historian E.-Z. Massicotte described it as a "masterpiece of Canadian domestic industry". A practice with mysterious origins and heavy meanings for many, the creation of sashes and arrow garments continues to this day.
