Since 2002, the Parade des jouets in Québec City has become a must-see event. More than 100,000 people come downtown to watch the Santa Claus parade, with its 70 different scenes. Bring along a toy that will be given to children in need during a massive Christmas party, where you can meet the event's main mascot, the little reindeer Geoffroy. The parade is interactive; children will receive gifts provided by event sponsors. Candy, balloons and other gadgets will also garnish their bags of toys. The Parade des jouets presents more than a dozen floats designed according to a Christmas and holiday theme.
