Cycling and road biking enthusiasts will be in heaven thanks to the Route verte, the most extensive network of bicycle routes in North America. With more than 4,000 km (2,485 mi) of bike lanes winding through Quebec’s most beautiful regions, your itinerary can include many different kinds of trails: bike paths, designated roadways or paved shoulders. The Parcours des Anses in Lévis, the Véloroute des Bleuets at Lac-Saint-Jean, the bike path on Berri Street in Montréal or the Estriade in the Eastern Townships… they’re all part of the Route verte. Along the way, you’ll also find lodging where you can recuperate and attractions for your entertainment pleasure.
