Located five minutes from downtown Trois-Rivières, on the south side of the mighty St. Lawrence River, Bécancour is the entryway to the Centre-du-Québec tourist region. Historical, cultural and agritourism treasures in the Bécancour RCM are illustrated by its architectural heritage, local activities and events, as well as by its friendly people. Visitors can discover the region by driving down Route 132 and exploring the many little picturesque routes that wind across the St. Lawrence plain. To better take in the bucolic landscapes, you can explore over 300 km (186 mi) of the area on bike. Stop at the tourist information office where you can borrow a bike for free and plan your stay! Additionally, enjoy the magnificent view provided by the St. Lawrence River as you drive down the Navigators’ Route (signposted Route des Navigateurs)!
