Soft sand, crystal-clear water, a landscape speckled with islands... are you dreaming yet? Make that dream come true with a trip to the beach at the Parc régional des Îles-de-Saint-Timothée, located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. As soon as you arrive, you will feel the soothing effect of nature. The beach also has many services on site, including a picnic area, children's playground, a snack bar for a bite to eat and boat rentals. A true slice of paradise where you can enjoy your favourite water activities!

Hot outside? The water’s fine!

Start your day at the magnificent sandy beach for a swim in the "A"-rated water, meaning that the quality is truly exceptional. Have fun in the water with peace of mind, as qualified lifeguards are on site to ensure the safety of the whole family. In between dips, enjoy some sport on one of the two beautiful volleyball courts.

All you need to make your day at the beach even better

Your day at the beach continues with a short hike through the forest trails to enjoy another side of the park, followed by a stop for the kids at the playground and the small zipline. After that, it’s time to refuel at the restaurant in the main building, which offers healthy options and delicious mocktails, as well as an ice cream menu.

Fun times out on the water

What’s a day at the beach without some fun on a boat? To round out your day, why not rent a paddleboard, kayak, canoe or pedal boat? And if you bring your own paddleboard, use it to go exploring the islands, then drop it off at the paddleboard rack near the shack. Speaking of paddleboards, did you know that the park offers SUP fitness classes from mid-June to the end of August? Now there’s a great, original way to stay in shape during the summer!
