Since 2001, the La
Virée Trad festival has been promoting the traditional culture
of Quebec by presenting traditional song and music shows, a public
market to showcase food producers and artisans from the Gaspésie
region, a storytelling evening, conferences, workshops, a program
for younger audiences, and much more. After hosting an online
edition last year, the festival promises a unique experience in
person this year in the sublime fall setting of Carleton-sur-Mer.
This 20th edition will take place from October 8 to 10.
Spread out over several stages, concert
halls and indoor and outdoor venues, the shows and workshops of
the La Virée Trad festival 2021 will showcase great singers,
musicians, dancers, storytellers, food producers, artisans and
restauranteurs. Also featured will be the largest public market in
the Gaspésie region: a delicious opportunity for festival-goers to
discover the freshness and flavour of local products.
Several top-quality musical groups and
artists will be present for this 20th edition of the Virée Trad
festival. You will be able to attend, among others, the shows of:
4 Charbonniers, La Nef, Genticorum, Les Chauffeurs à pieds, Bon
Débarras, Michel Faubert, Le Winston Band, La Famille Leblanc and
dancer and choreographer Yaëlle Azoulay. To reserve your seat and
