The Festival represents the rich diversity of Quebec’s music scene, bringing together thousands of fans in Petite-Vallée, a breathtaking coastal town in Gaspésie. From June 30 to July 9, you can come and experience the 39th edition of this internationally renowned festival, taking place on the rocky outcrop jutting into the mighty St. Lawrence! Rock out at the Dans l’shed à Léon music performances In celebration of the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée, the town’s famed fishing shed will serve as a venue for Dans l’shed à Léon’s iconic acoustic performances. Joined by Gaspésie’s own musical duo Dans l’Shed, artists in the lineup will put on a mini-concert steeped in country, folk and Americana vibes. It’s sure to be an amazing experience! Les Heures heureuses: a series of free shows over happy hour The Festival will also present Les Heures heureuses Hydro-Québec, a new series of free concerts held at the Camp Chanson stage during happy hour. These concerts will have performances by Bonbon Vodou from the island of Réunion, Magneto Trio, Alexandre Belliard, Dans l’Shed, Maggie Savoie, Louis Venne, Simon Kearney, Baratin d’marin and Stephen Faulkner. There will also be a two-step dance class and a Louisiana gumbo tasting session along with an appearance by The Revelers. Events throughout the summer Although the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée runs only 10 days, the Théâtre de la Vieille Forge holds shows (almost) every night during the summer. From June to September, come and see music artists and comedians take the stage at this coastal venue. It’s a perfect opportunity to see a concert, grab a coffee or enjoy a delicious meal, all the while taking in the view of the St. Lawrence!
