The Sorel-Tracy region is a paradise for water sports and activities of all kinds, thanks to its ideal location at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and Richelieu rivers. The possibilities are endless, from cruising among Lac Saint-Pierre’s 103 islands to kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. Prepare for a bright, playful journey through the heart of the Sorel islands at Statera – L’archipel fabuleux. This “Archipelago of Wonders” features new 360° projections under an impressive outdoor dome, as well as a state-of-the-art interactive indoor path. Nature also puts on a show at Parc régional des Grèves, with marshes, peat bogs and century-old pine forests to explore along the St. Lawrence River, and at the Sentier du marais, a trail leading to the largest managed marsh in eastern North America. The region’s cycling trails are ideal for families and experienced cyclists alike.
