Go skiing beneath snow-covered trees

Boasting 60 miles of beautifully groomed trails and amazing wildlife, Club Sportif Appalaches appeals to all types of skiers. While the climb up to Lac Trois-Saumons offers a challenge rewarded by a superb view of the St. Lawrence, trails along the valleys and streams are ideal for family outings. Snowshoers are well catered for too, thanks to 10 miles of trails. You’ll also appreciate the heated shelters, equipment rental service, bistro-lounge and nearby accommodations, some of which are accessible from the trails. Special activities will be organized throughout the season, such as moonlight skiing.

Organize a snowmobiling trip

The L’Islet region is a remarkable playground for snowmobiling. Several welcoming accommodations, such as TSP Évasion chalets and the Maison du Voyageur, are located directly on the trails of the popular Circuit de l’Aventurier. Scheduled to open in February 2024, the Éco-Chalets Monk are eco-friendly cottages located in the heart of nature and close to the trails on the edge of the Monk section, in Tourville. Designed with nature in mind, these new, well-equipped cottages will be able to accommodate 2 to 4 people. They are located on the grounds of the Centre sportif Le Jasmin – a relay for snowmobilers and quad riders – at the crossroads of trails 35 and 10. What more could you ask for!

With its spectacular nature, wonderful outdoor activities, gourmet flair and comforting accommodations, L’Islet is such a romantic destination! There are so many options to choose from for anyone wanting to plan a perfect getaway for two: combine snowshoeing with a delicious gourmet dinner, stay in a cozy cottage and enjoy strolls along the river, or explore local shops before heading out for a drink at the Ras L’Bock microbrewery. And to make your getaway complete, be sure to take part in one of the many winter festivals that promise fun and entertainment!
