Take advantage of this turnkey itinerary

Keep it simple and follow this well-thought-out itinerary to discover a ton of attractions in one day. Start your adventure at the Parc nature de Pointe-des-Cascades. After exploring this nature park, including its lookout and the lighthouse, head to the Parc des Ancres, an open-air museum with old anchors and other maritime artifacts. Then, stop for a bite at the charming Deux grains au moulin bakery-café. After lunch, get back on two wheels and ride until you reach the Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site. Get a feel for the history of this place before cooling off with homemade sorbet or gelato from Crème et cie. On the way back, visit the magnificent Le Bourg des Cèdres vineyard. Then, to top off the day, check out the Village des Écluses for a lively evening full of great encounters.

From pedal to paddle

If you want to try out other activities – or modes of transport! – plan your cycling outing so you can enjoy the water, too. Get on your bike in the morning and ride until you reach Coteau-du-Lac, where you can rent a kayak or paddleboard and continue your adventure on the water. The Saint-Zotique beach is also a great place to take a little break from biking; in addition to swimming, you can rent kayaks, canoes, paddleboards or pedal boats to explore Lac Saint-François. And for something a little out of the ordinary, Ecosurf at Village des Écluses invites you to try electric surfing or water biking!
