The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal is the first Neo-Gothic Church in Canada. Known for its grandiose architecture, the Basilica welcomes nearly one million visitors each year. Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica offers diverse cultural activities including The AURA Experience, an immersive production by Moment Factory that combines sound, light and multimedia effects. During the performance, the distinguished sound of the 7,000-piped Casavant organ is also played. The magnificient instrument was built by the Casavant brothers in 1891, in Quebec.
