Let yourself be tempted by a dogsledding expedition and set out to conquer the snowy trails with man’s best friend. Most adventure/outdoor tourism agents offering dogsledding expeditions have outings with an experienced guide, or musher, who will either guide the sled upon which you are comfortably seated, all alone or with someone else, or who will lead the first team of dogs over the trails while you follow with your own team, once you’ve mastered the basics. Whether you will be enjoying an outing that lasts a few hours or several days, the expert guides will share their passion for this activity and you’ll have a unique experience with the dogs and enjoy the wondrous scenery. Looking for an original winter experience? Try skijoring: while wearing skis, you’ll be pulled by one or two dogs for a briskly paced snowy outing!
