Biophare
Biophare
Located in the heart of Regard-sur-le-Fleuve Park in Sorel-Tracy, the Biophare, an accredited museum, invites you to explore the exceptional territory of the Lake Saint-Pierre World Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO, for its rich biodiversity and for the efforts made by local communities to preserve and protect this ecosystem. Discover “Confluence,” the new permanent exhibition highlighting the connection between the river, wetlands, and the region’s human history. Through exhibitions, nautical excursions, and activities, the Biophare offers an experience that reveals, in a surprising and original way, the many heritage dimensions of the Sorel-Tracy area, the Lake Saint-Pierre Biosphere Region, and the St. Lawrence River.
