Espace Napaga
Espace Napaga
Espace NAPAGA is a timeless museum complex located on the Pabos Archaeological Site, which it helps preserve. More than 18,500 artifacts have been discovered to date, reconstructing daily life in the largest permanent commercial fishing settlement on the Gaspé coast during the 18th and 19th centuries. Set against a breathtaking, millennia-old panorama, everything you experience at NAPAGA immerses you in 250 years of history from a maritime seigneury, through the lives and adventures of the people of New France. Here, archaeology comes to life in the heart of nature. Arriving via Route 132 in the Pabos Mills sector of the city of Chandler, you’ll be greeted with a warm, typically Gaspesian welcome. Espace NAPAGA reveals the secrets and most remarkable highlights of the Pabos Archaeological Site.
