Ulverton Wool Mill
Set in a spectacular historical setting, the Ulverton Wool Mill offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Discover the fascinating world of a traditional working mill through an interactive guided tour, where you will explore every step of the wool transformation process. Since 2023, an immersive visit is also available for young children and individuals with reduced mobility, offering an accessible, comfortable, and tailored experience for all. Throughout the season, the site also features beautiful riverside walking trails, picnic areas, and a rich cultural program, including workshops and demonstrations celebrating traditional arts and crafts. Starting in May, indulge in an English tea service, available Friday to Sunday during low season, and Wednesday to Sunday starting in July. Before you leave, be sure to visit the newly redesigned boutique, where you will find a selection of handmade products, warm, sustainable, and of superior quality.
