FIFEM: Youth Cinema Takes Center Stage in Montreal! For nearly 30 years, the Montreal International Children’s Film Festival (FIFEM) has been nurturing the film lovers of tomorrow by offering them the best in global youth cinema. Fiction, documentary, animation—more than 100 films from around the world are screened each year, celebrating cultural diversity and an open-minded approach to the world. Beyond the festival, FIFEM is active year-round: FIFEM in Schools brings the art of cinema directly into classrooms with screenings and workshops; FIFEM on Tour reaches communities across Quebec; and Cinescapade offers a catalog of quality films for young audiences.
