Festival TransAmériques

Festival TransAmériques (FTA) is an international performing arts festival dedicated to celebrating the art of dance and theatre and is the largest festival of its kind in North America. Located in Montreal/Tio’tia:ke/Mooniyang, FTA pursues an ongoing dialogue with the city and its history, theatres, and neighbourhoods. It attracts and engages with diverse audiences, which it aims to expand and draw closer. For over four decades the FTA has brought together the most profound leading artists along with new voices and actors who are shaping the future of these arts. Welcoming around twenty local and international shows each year, FTA celebrates the complexity of the world and provokes powerful encounters and profound experiences.
