Québec Winter Carnival

For nearly 73 years, the Quebec Winter Carnival has celebrated winter and northern life with an outdoor event in early February. For ten days, Quebec City transforms into a snow festival featuring numerous ice and snow sculptures, the Ice Palace, outdoor shows, night parades, a canoe race on the St. Lawrence River, ice bars, and dozens of other activities. And don't forget about Bonhomme Carnaval, the event's ambassador who spreads magic and a love of winter wherever he goes. It's the winter event not to be missed!
