Major International Events Network

The “Regroupement des évènements majeurs internationaux” or Major International Events Network (MIEN) has brought together the organizers of most key cultural, sports, and entertainment events held in Quebec. Members meet to discuss the common challenges they face and promote the economic importance of the events industry. MIEN’s inception and growth are in accordance with the emergence of an independent events industry in Quebec that is contributing to the province’s economic, tourism, cultural, and social development. Increasingly, the events industry is shaping Quebec’s brand image on the international tourism stage.
