Combine history and kayaking
Kayaking right in the city!
There’s no better way to experience nature and the city than Sherb-Histoire’s kayak trips. These two-and-a-half-hour kayak outings on Lac des Nations in the heart of the city, with experienced guides, will introduce you to the biodiversity and history of Lac des Nations. You can also choose a nighttime kayak trip with Sherb-Histoire. During a night trip lasting an hour and a half, slow down and enjoy the moment of peace and tranquillity that falls over the lake after the sun has set and the wind has quieted down.

Tour the museums!
Nature may be everywhere in Sherbrooke, but culture and history play major roles too. See this for yourself on a museum tour! Three museums are located downtown near many restaurants and each offers a different experience. The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke presents permanent and temporary exhibits that highlight the region’s artists’ expansive talents. Then there’s the Sherbrooke History Museum (MHIST) which offers various exhibitions. Finally, the Museum of Nature and Science, a hit with families, illustrates just how much science is all around us through playful participatory exhibits.
