Pointe-à-Callière
Knights: a trip back to medieval times
Until October 19, 2025, Pointe-à-Callière transforms into a full-fledged medieval stronghold with the Knights exhibition and its exceptional collection. Showcasing nearly 250 objects, including complete suits of armour, helmets, swords, and shields, this exhibition explores various aspects of medieval knighthood, from military training to castle life and the honour code of feudal societies.
If you’ve always wanted to be a knight in shining armour, now’s your chance! You can wield a sword, gauge the weight of real armour, and even try pieces of equipment in an experiential zone.
Alley-oop – An Interactive Adventure
Running until January 11, 2026, the exhibition Alley-oop – An Interactive Adventure invites visitors of all ages to explore these urban spaces that are more than just laneways.
Visual projections and motion detection transform this exhibition space into a vast playground. Visit five stations filled with challenges for all ages, set in immersive environments that shift with Montreal’s changing seasons.
In addition, archival photos and period toys showcase the unique heritage of these beloved spaces. During your visit, keep your eyes open for Louis-Hector, the museum’s cat, who has disappeared somewhere in the alleys. Can you help find him?
Summer on the Pointe: activities for the whole family
All summer long, Summer on the Pointe brings life to the museum’s forecourt with fun and free outdoor activities.
Enjoy Musical Middays every Thursday from July 3 to August 14, and join the fun on Family Sundays with games and activities from July 6 to August 17. And the much-anticipated 18th-century Public Market returns on August 23 and 24, painting a vivid picture of the era’s lively trade scene.
This cozy urban space is the perfect spot to kick back and relax after visiting the museum!
