Located halfway between Montréal and Québec, Nicolet-Yamaska is a choice destination. In the spring, bring your binoculars and watch thousands of birds near Lake Saint-Pierre, where you can treat your sweet tooth at a maple grove. In the summer, enjoy the pleasure of biking: 400 kilometres (249 miles) of on-road cycling routes, festivals and regional products are waiting for you! In the fall, put on your shoes to go pick apples and gaze over the Saint-François and Nicolet rivers. In the winter, bring your friends ice-fishing, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling. Nicolet-Yamaska is also home to art, history, Abenaki culture and the world’s diverse religious beliefs exposed in museums and art centres.
